The Cadence Group offers a number of sales programs to get your books into bookstores, gift stores, and libraries. We are also happy to teach self-published authors and publishers  how to do their sales and marketing themselves.

We do not use commission groups to drop off catalogs at bookstores, but we offer book buyers a more focused opportunity to consider each and every title. We use our relationships, meetings over the phone, post and e-mail as well as face to face meetings to reach out to book buyers on a title-by-title basis.

If your book is accepted by our review team, The Cadence Group will take on the sales of your book to retailers nationwide. Instead of charging our clients high percentages, administrative fees, and hidden costs for phone calls, follow-up with accounts, etc. we’re thrilled to offer a new and transparent way to sell and market your books.

Here’s what it looks like:

National Sales Programs
National sales pitch to all accounts. – Your book will be pitched to all appropriate accounts which may include Barnes & Noble, Indigo, Wal-Mart, Target, Books-a-Million, Hastings, specialty retailers, airport stores, wholesalers, gift and mass market. These services are available as a monthly package or a la carte on an hourly basis.

Marketing Programs
We’re more than happy to work with our clients to combine our sales program with our aggressive marketing team. Options might include a Regional Sales Campaign, Top Independent Bookstore Program, Amazon outreach, Blog tour, Book Industry PR, reviews, author interviews, and ad buys.

Regional Sales Campaigns and Marketing Programs
If your program or budget is not yet ready for national distribution, no problem! We can work with you on strategic regional telemarketing and online campaigns to increase your exposure. If and when your books are ready to be pitched to the national chains, we can discuss moving your list to our National Sales Program.
